Security Design Centre Ltd. was a leading UK specialist in the design and supply of standalone, integrated and networked security solutions. Our services included intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems, alongside a comprehensive range of physical security measures such as gates, barriers and turnstiles. We developed extensive expertise in risk and threat assessment, as well as the design, installation, emergency support and ongoing maintenance of large-scale integrated security systems.
The business was originally established in 1980 by Dave and Linda Trimmer under the name D & L Security Systems, before later rebranding as Security Design Centre Ltd in 1990.
In subsequent years, the company and its contracts were acquired by a major national security provider, marking the next stage in its evolution.
